Children's theatre shows in Solstice on Friday

With schools across the county closing to facilitate voting in the General Election, Solsice Arts Centre presents two special performances of ‘They Called Her Vivaldi’ on Friday 26th February at 11am and 5pm to help distract the little ones on their extra day off school!
Recommended for audiences aged five plus, and adults of all ages, ‘They Called Her Vivaldi’ is the latest show from Theatre Lovett, run by joint artistic directors Muireann Ahern and Louis Lovett. The production, which the company will tour to nine venues around Ireland over the coming months, is an upbeat comedy-adventure about a sensitive musical-prodigy making a quiet name for herself in a cacophonous world. A father and daughter live in a haberdasher’s shop, and when the daughter’s musical gift is revealed, their world takes on a whole new dimension.
Theatre Lovett have brought their much praised productions of ‘The House that Jack Filled’ and ‘Mr Foley, The Radio Operator’ to Solsice Arts Centre in previous seasons.
