Meath hurlers poised

Mayo edged out Kerry by 0-18 to 0-15 in the Christy Ring Cup at Castlebar in the second series of games in the Group. Meath beat Mayo last weekend in Navan. This means that Meath can top the group and earn a home tie in the quarter-finals if they beat the Munster side in the final group game next Saturday. However, Meath could also fail to qualify if they lose heavily to Kerry and all the teams finish level on two points. In this week's Meath Chronicle, Fergal Lynch will have all the views from the Meath camp as he talks to manager John Andrews ahead of the big game.
