Dinosaurs Alive in Bettystown!

In its first European stop, the 'Dinosaurs Alive" exhibition is entertaining and educating the county"s kids at Funtasia, Bettystown through August 31st. The impressive exhibition is a multi-sensory, dynamic and interactive environment that includes some of the world"s largest and most advanced animatronic dinosaurs. Since their discovery in 1822, dinosaurs have fascinated us. Their larger-than-life existence, the science, the mythology of the unknown - all these, and more, contribute to making dinosaurs the most studied creatures that ever inhabited the earth. 'Dinosaurs Alive" tells the story of dinosaurs in the most realistic way possible. Get up close with roaring, standing, moving animatronic dinosaurs, the largest of which stands 24ft high and 70ft long. This exhibition delivers more than a visual exhibition - rather this is an entertaining, story-driven and educational experience that features an unrivalled collection of eleven life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, dinosaur skeletons and fossils. The Exhibition Includes life-size, fleshy to the touch, animatronic dinosaurs, life-size skeletons, ranging from small winged dinosaurs to a 60ft long monolith, an interesting and wide range of fossils and eggs from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, an array of communications and interpretive display materials that add context and meaning to each exhibit which is meant to both educate and entertain.
