O'Mahonys secure semi spot

Navan O'Mahonys eased their way into the semi-finals of the Meath SFC last night with a convincing 13 point victory over last year's IFC champions Donaghmore/Ashbourne at Pairc Tailteann. Playing against a strong wind in the first half, the Navan men hit two early goals through Mark Ward and Lee Russell. Their cause was further helped by the dismissal of Donaghmore/Ashbourne's Ciaran Ellis early in the game. This victory sets Sean Kelly's troops up for a last four decider against Blackhall Gaels. Wolfe Tones and Summerhill will contest the other semi-final.
