Award-winning music trio in Venue Theatre

The award-winning Syrius Trio will perform in The Venue Theatre, Ratoath, tomorrow (Thursday 23rd October). The trio will perform a programme, featuring Ben Dwyer, Smetana, Philip Glass and Mendelssohn, and the concert is courtesy of the Meath County Council Arts Office and Music Network The Syrius Trio - Elizabeth Cooney (violin), Jane O"Hara (cello) and Bobby Chen (piano) - were awarded a place in 2006 on Young Musicwide, Music Network"s development programme for selected young professional musicians. They have been described as giving a fine committed delivery, displaying excellent teamwork and delivering a very impressive and controlled performance. Young Musicwide is a professional development scheme designed by Music Network to assist a selected group of Ireland"s brightest young musicians at the beginning of their professional career.
