Extra road signs to be erected in Trim

Trim Area Council Chairman William Carey has said that extra signs are being erected to warn heavy traffic about restrictions at the Boyne Dock Road, Longwood. 'I am glad to inform the Middleborough residents that three extra signs are being erected to warn heavy traffic about the restrictions at Boyne Dock Longwood. I am also glad to say that the director of services has agreed to carry out an engineer"s assessment of the position to see what would be the implications of making the Clongiffen Road, the official route to the M4 and I am awaiting the results. If successful, this would result in getting the through traffic away from the village centre,' said Cllr Carey.
