'Bad boy' Rob woos the Navan ladies at Palace re-opening

His character bad boy Sean Slater became a father in "Eastenders" last week, but actor Rob Kazinsky still found time to meet the ladies of Navan as he opened the new look Palace Nightclub. Slater and Roxy made up over the new arrival, baby Amy, in the intensive care unit on out tv screens last week, but Rob had no such worries as he jetted into Navan to experience the town"s nightlife, accompanied by a camera crew from TV3"s "Expose". The special guest celebrated the club"s recent refurbishment with its new suspended glass bridge above the dance floor as well as a state of the art smoking area. Palace manager Darren Kavanagh said that with added competition and new licensing laws, clubs have to keep ahead of the game. 'We have been open over four years now and we have constantly upgraded the club year on year, so that has probably contributed to making us one of the top nightclubs in the north east,' he added. There were fire eaters, bongo players and stilt walkers while celebrity DJ Ray Shah played the tunes on the night. Rob, named Best Actor and Sexiest Male category at the annual Inside Soap Awards in the UK , has recently been filming explosive storylines which will see him depart "Eastenders" on New Year"s Eve next. There were over 1,000 people at The Palace in Navan for his visit , which included over 600 women who could wait to get a glimpse of Walford Square"s bad boy. However unlike other visiting celebrities who like to party, he was spotted drinking still water and in deep conversation with Deric Hartigan who was at the club to film a Comedy Quiz with him for TV3"s "Expose".
