Patrick, affectionately known as 'Gandhi", was only 29 years old when he died tragically following an accident. Six days earlier, he had lined out for Moylagh playing at centre forward in the Junior A quarter final against Dunsany. Paddy played underage football at all levels for our club. He won under-21, A League, B League finals and was also honoured with a player of the year award for 2006. Paddy held the position of assistant secretary of the football committee from 2004 until his untimely passing, and also sat for many years on the 'Blotto" committee.
