Impressive victory for Duleek men
Duleek had a superb win in the Meath & District Premier League on Sunday when they comprehensively defeated Glaslough Villa at Tollstone. Colin Woods gave the hosts the lead after 25 minutes when he finished well after good work down the right wing from Noel Burke. Robbie Carr added to that advantage when he scored direct from a corner shortly before half-time. The winners kept the momentum going after the interval and a brace from Paddy Coates had the Meath side 4-0 ahead with half an hour left. Duleek took their feet off the pedal from then on and allowed the Monaghan side a consolation from a penalty. This win keeps Duleek in with an outside chance of Premier honours this season.
