Dunshaughlin stages 'Cinderella"
'Cinderella" is Dunshaughlin Panto Group"s 2009 production, taking place in the Community College, Dunshaughlin, on Friday 20th February at 8pm, Saturday 21st at 3pm and 8pm and Sunday 22nd at 4pm. Cinderella is in residence at Castle Liberty were she lives a lonely life with her father, Baron Von Trapdoor, ever so faithful butler Buttons, her brilliantly clever dog Scooby Don"t, her evil stepmother Grimelda and her ugly stepsisters Bella and Donna. Grimelda is trying to get her hands on the deeds to Castle Liberty with the aid of her 'Special Tea recipe" whilst the ugly sister are eagerly awaiting the royal ball so that one of them can bag the handsome Price Charming. With the help of her Fairy godmother Fairy Snow will Cinderella get to the ball? Will Scooby Don"t uncover the deeds to Castle Liberty? Will Buttons keep his job? Will the Baron ever realise what Grimelda is up to? Will Prince Charming ever find his one true love? Under the direction of Lally McCormack, lots of local talent will be on show in the form of the incredible Marion Carberry and her daughter Trudy, Joan McLoughlin, Caroline Coyle, Carol Curley, Stuart Gray, Brian Wall, Paddy O"Sullivan, Dee Shanahan, Rosin Gryson, Diarmuid Brennan, Darragh Smith, Jonathan Lynch, Robert Lynam, Aine Brennan, Diarmuid Brennan and Ciara Donnachie. There are no bookings being taken for the shows so the advice for intending patrons is to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
