HURLING Date: 24th April The Meath club hurling championships will start on weekend of 9th May. As 10th May is GAA Club Day it is likely that hurling games will be scheduled for the Friday and Saturday and possibly Monday evening also. At the moment we have no official fixtures. At last Thursday night's meeting no changes were made to the hurling championships. FOOTBALL Date: 24th April The SFC game between St Patrick's and Simonstown which was postponed on Sunday, 19th April due to a bereavement has been awarded as a walkover to Simonstown by the Meath CCC. St Patrick's have indicated to the Meath Chroncile that they will appeal this decision. However, Leinster Council of the GAA confirmed today (Friday) that they have not received any appeal and that a club has three days from receiving notification of decision to submit an appeal.
