Five-star standards upheld at Dunboyne Eurospar

Dunboyne Eurospar was awarded top honours at the annual Spar Five Star Awards which took place recently. The awards are held in recognition of excellent standards maintained throughout the past year. The awards programme, which is run in association with the Excellence Ireland Quality Association, recognises excellence in areas such as shop presentation, customer care and food safety. The national awards were presented at The Killashee House Hotel in Naas, Co Kildare. Spar retailers underwent a vigorous assessment programme throughout the year to ensure that they complied with the strict criteria set. Surprise audits were carried out on an ongoing basis by mystery shoppers, Spar personnel and - specific to food safety - the EIQA.
