Groundhog day looms for Meath

It's not too often that a team is presented with an opportunity at redemption, but Meath have one now. The prize for beating Roscommon next Saturday night in Navan is a third round All-Ireland SFC qualifier joust with Limerick. Twelve months ago Meath were shown the exit door at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick, but now they can exorcise that ghost provided they beat Roscommon first. Meath or Roscommon were paired with Limerick in the draw on RTE's Sunday Game. The other pairings were: Kildare v Wicklow; Galway v Donegal and Antrim v Kerry. Those three ties will be played next weekend.
