Coronas headline successful concert in Dunshaughlin
An attendance of almost 1,000 teenagers enjoyed the recent 'Welcome Back Night' headlined by The Coronas at Dunshaughlin Community Centre. This was the inaugural gig for Funshaughlin Promotions and the night was kicked off by the local band Dee Tour who sent the crowd wild. Next on stage was Home Star Runner, an Indie band, again from Dunshaughlin who are paving their way to national and international success, having played at Oxygen this year. The Coronas took to the stage later and the crowd rocked to such well known favourites as San Diego Song, Heros and Ghosts and their single 'Listen Dear' from their highly anticipated album 'Tony was a X Con', which was released last Friday. The night was finished off by DJ Eddie Mac. The organisers were so delighted with the support for the event, they will be putting together a programme of similar events for 2010.
