Lottery luck strikes again in Trim
Mattie Reilly, playing for his partner Martina Farrell, Trim, brought home €54,000 from last weekend's National Lottery 'Winning Streak' show on RTE. For Martina, it was her second time in the audience of 'Winning Streak'. About 20 years ago, her brother Ollie Farrell was a contestant on the show with Mike Murphy, when he won £25,000. Ollie was also in the audience this Saturday. Mattie and Martina are both looking forward to being able to pay off some of their debts but might also consider buying a new car. Most of all, they want to be able to put some money away towards their son's education. Gerard will be 14 years-old in April. The winning ticket was bought in MJ's Trim Post Office, which also recently sold a €4.5m Lotto jackpot-winning ticket. Also on Saturday night's show was Ann Dwan from Virginia. From Mountjoy Square and later Finglas in Dublin, she and her husband Michael, first lived in Greystones for 12 years, then Clonee for eight and they have been living in Virginia for seven years. Ann won a Caribbean holiday and €53,100.
