Athboy man on 'Deal Or No Deal'

Athboy man Franklin Nugent will take on the 'banker' this Friday night on TV3's 'Deal Or No Deal' game show at 8pm. Cheered on by family and friends, Franklin had the audience on the edge of their seats in his quest to beat the infamous 'Deal Or No Deal' banker and win lots of money on the recorded show. The top prize available to be won each week on 'Deal Or No Deal' is €250,000 but Franklin's prizemoney will not be revealed until after the show has been broadcast. Franklin (35) is a miner at Tara Mines in Navan, where has worked there for nine years. He has been married to Seana for eight years and they have one son, Arran. He loves travelling and, as Seana's family are from Malaysia, he has visited the country seven times and would love to visit America. He describes himself as a car nut, loves 'Top Gear' and went to the Malaysian Grand Prix. He said his wife has plenty of plans for his win, including decorating the house, taking a holiday and bringing Arran to Legoland.
