Body discovered at Rathfeigh identified

Gardaí have confirmed that the body discovered in a field in Rathfeigh earlier this week is that of 17-year-old Daniel McAnaspie. The Dublin teenager had been missing from his home since 25th February. A post-mortem examination revealed that he had suffered multiple stab wounds. The body was discovered by a man out walking at approximately 3pm on Thursday 13th May, according to Garda Press Office. The scene was technically examined and visited by Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Jabber. The body was removed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital where a postmortem examination took place. Gardaí have renewed their appeal for anyone with information in connection with his death to contact them.
