Lough in Ball comedy show comes to Halfway House

Following on from the successful sell out debut show, The Lough in Ball present the first of their Edinburgh fringe festival preview shows this Friday at the Halfway House, Ballinlough, Kells, with a recession busting €7 (€5 with concession) admission fee. Headlining is Rory O'Hanlon, previewing his 2010 Edinburgh fringe festival show titled 'United by Liverpool'. Rory is a very likable Dubliner, whose brand of comedy travels well and is a regular on the UK comedy scene. Rory got a string of rave reviews following his Edinburgh show titled 'Ginger Nuts' in 2009. Edwin Salmon is one of the rising stars in Irish comedy and has appeared in all the major clubs in Dublin, including The Laughter Lounge, Capital Comedy Club and The Underground. Harry McGarry was recently the star of Alfie's Comedy Lounge in Tramore, and backed it up with an excellent performance at the Kells Comedy Festival. Host Finbarr Convey is the resident MC of Alfie's Comedy Lounge in Tramore and has 'MCed' at all the major comedy clubs in Ireland The Lough in Ball Comedy Club is in the Halfway House, Ballinlough, on Friday 28th May at 9pm. Comedy shows will happen every month and it is promised to bring you the best of comedy, both national and international.
