'Grease' tickets go on sale

Meath Youth Musical Society returns to the stage later this month with the world's favourite musical 'Grease', in Trim Town Hall from 22nd to 26th September. For founding director Gareth Mahony, the chance to be one of only two groups to obtain the rights to perform Grease after a 17 withdrawal from the amateur circuit was a fantastic chance not to be missed. The cast includes Kevin Fagan and Danielle Williamson from Navan as Danny and Sandy, and the rest of the cast comes from Navan, Ashbourne, Ratoath, Trim, Kiltale, Dunshaughlin and Ratoath. The show has all the hits songs including 'Summer Nights', 'Sandy', 'Greased Lightning', 'You're The One That I Want' and all the others. Under the musical direction of Helen McHugh and choreographed by Pauline Dwyer of Dance Force Academy, tickets go on sale today (Wednesday) from An Troman, Market St, Trim or they can be booked from (085) 711 5699. Tickets are €12 for adults and to tie in with Active Age week in Trim, Senior Citizens and children are only €10. The show runs nightly at 8pm from Wednesday 22nd to Saturday 25th and there is a matinee at 3pm on Sunday 26th.
