'Love Hate' (RTE 1, Sunday, 9.30pm) - A new four-part drama serial set in Dublin's gangland. When a catastrophic event ignites the tensions in a small-time drug gang, family, friends and community must live with the impact. Starring Aidan Gillen, Robert Sheehan, Ruth Bradley, Ruth Negga and Brian Gleeson, the first episode introduces Darren, who skipped Dublin when a gun was found in his house and forced him to live for the past year in Spain. Deciding to risk it and come back to Dublin because he's homesick and to attend a party for his brother's release from prison, the weekend turns out to be full of surprises - like the ones that happen when all your friends are involved in crime. ____________________________________________________________ 'Sports Mash: Taking The Mic' (ITV, Wednesday, 10.45pm) - This new series combines classic clips of the best and most unusual footage in the ITV World of Sport archive with modern, light-hearted commentary. Footage from the cream of sport in the 1970s and '80s will be featured along with some sports that no longer get the share of the television limelight that they used to, including polo and arm wrestling. ____________________________________________________________ 'Trinny & Susannah: From Boom To Bust' (Ch4, Thursday, 9pm) - Trinny and Susannah were once the UK's favourite fashionistas, best-known for a no-nonsense style which saw them manhandling women all over the nation. But after several years in the TV wilderness, Trinny and Susannah think they deserve another chance. In a bid to revamp their careers, they've allowed the cameras into their daily lives in this warts-and-all docu-drama which follows the few highs, and many lows, as the duo endeavour to get another big break. ____________________________________________________________ 'Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year' (RTE 1, Friday, 7.30pm) - With the Irish economy stalled in deep recession and the Irish public more depressed about the economic state of the nation than ever before, where will hope for the future come from? This year's Entrepreneur of the Year proves there are still successful enterprises out there. There are still jobs being created. There are still people doing business. Over the course of the first three programmes, we follow Pádraig " Céidigh as he criss-crosses the country, meeting and assessing this year's 24 finalists on their home turf. ____________________________________________________________ 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (Sky One, Monday, 9.30pm) - Starring Chris O'Donnell as Special Agent G Callen and LL Cool J as Special Agent Sam Hanna, the series is the first spin-off from the popular 'NCIS', set in the dangerous world of the Office of Special Projects. This division of NCIS is charged with apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals that pose a threat to the nation's security. By assuming false identities and utilising the most advanced technology, Callen and Sam along with their team of highly trained agents go deep undercover, putting their lives on the line in the field to bring down their targets. Alongside the blistering action, the series has won a loyal following due to its wry humour, the friendship between Callen and Hanna and the mystery surrounding Callen - an orphan who only knows the first letter of his name. ____________________________________________________________ Movie Of The Week: 'My Best Friend' (RTE 2, Wednesday, 11.30pm) - Daniel Auteuil stars as a gently ruthless antiques dealer who will do nearly anything to make a deal, and when business partner Catherine throws him a birthday party, someone points out that all the guests are business associates, not personal friends. While François protests that he does indeed have friends, Catherine calls him on it - if he can produce his best friend within 10 days, he'll be allowed to keep a valuable vase he recently found for the shop, but if not, the vase will belong to her.
