Dream football trip on cards for Navan boy Cian
A young Navan schoolboy got a tremendous surprise on Christmas Eve when the postman delivered that day's batch of festive mail. Cian Perdisatt, aged six, of Windtown, Navan, received a Christmas card from Tottenham Hotspur Football Club - with his own drawing on it. It turned out that Cian's entry in the Christmas card drawing competition run by the London football club was judged the winner. His picture was used on the official club Christmas card which was sent out to all Tottenham Hotspur members, over 40,000 households. Cian, a member of the 'One Hotspur Kicker' club, also wins a trip to the club's training ground, where he will have his original card signed by the team in April or May. A copy of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 for the XBox 360 was also in the prize cache for Cian, whose love of Spurs comes from his father, John. The card sent out to all members is signed by manager Harry Redknapp and captain Ledley King. Cian didn't realise he had won the competition until the card landed on his own doormat. Cian attends senior infants in St Paul's National School, Navan, and plays soccer in Parkvilla's underage academy.
