No trace of missing man seven weeks after disappearance
Seven weeks after he disappeared from his Wilkinstown home, there has still been no trace of missing local man Garvan (Robert) Milligan (35). Gardai continue to seek the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Mr Milligan who has been missing from his home since Monday 15th November. Mr Milligan is originally from Carrigans, Co Donegal, but has resided in Wilkinstown for the past four years with his sister and brother-in-law and their young son. He is described as six feet in height, of heavy build, with short dark hair, going grey. He left his home in his car, a Green Suzuki Baleno, registration number 98 D 17890, on Monday 15th November. The car has not been located and Gardai say it could be parked up somewhere in Ireland and are asking people to look out for it. Gardai have CCTV still pictures which show Mr Milligan leaving Giles's shop in Longwood at around 5.30pm on 15th November and it is understood that he then travelled to Broadford in Co Kildare where he met a friend in whose company he was until about 9.30pm. The last trace of Mr Milligan was a signal from his mobile phone in the Boyle area of Co Roscommon the next day, Tuesday 16th November. His distraught family are asking for anyone who has any information on Mr Milligan's whereabouts to contact them or the Gardai. Anyone with any information on Mr Milligan's whereabouts can contact Navan Garda Station on (046) 907 9930.
