Trim hotel celebrates its fifth birthday
Trim Castle Hotel was officially five years open last Thursday and hosted a party to mark the occasion. To celebrate the anniversary, the O'Brien family, the management team and staff invited valued customers, family and friends to a tea party. There was a bustling atmosphere as everyone arrived and young and old enjoyed cakes and sweet treats, plenty of tea and a glass of champagne. General manager Noel Comer thanked everyone for coming along, and said they were grateful especially to local people for their continued support and business over the past five years. He said that the hotel had made many friends and he "hoped Trim Castle Hotel would continue to be the choice for people when choosing a venue to hold important celebrations". The award-winning hotel is a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike in the centre of the town and is especially popular with visitors to the town when taking a break after a tour of Trim Castle or a heritage walk. It has hosted hundreds of weddings with couples from from near and some from as far away as Australia. Located in the centre of Trim, the four-star hotel is credited with bringing plenty of visitors not only to Trim but the wider Boyne Valley area.
