Bray blow for Meath
Meath's aspirations of Leinster SFC glory suffered a major blow this week with the news that Stephen Bray is set to miss Sunday's showdown with Wicklow. The Navan O'Mahonys man suffered a hamstring injury at training on Tuesday night and has not been included in the 26-man panel for Sunday's game. Bray joins Paddy Gilsenan on the sidelines after the Oldcastle man failed to get over a niggling hamstring problem. While neither players' injury is rated as serious they are both likely to be ruled out of action for a minimum of 10 days. The absense of Bray and Gilsenan is likely to open the door for Brian Farrell to make a return to the starting 15 and there could also be a starting berth for a number of possible debutants. Bray's club mate Alan Forde and Duleek/Bellewstown's Mark Collins in line for a starting spot along with Jamie Queeney and Seneschalstown's Brian Sheridan and Ballinlough's Peadar Byrne.
