King's absence another headache for McEnaney
Meath manager Seamus McEnaney was left to contend with another problem in a roller-coaster year after Caoimhin King stepped down from the panel. The Dunshaughlin player quit the panel after the victory over Wicklow. Despite being a regular member of the panel King appears to have fallen behind Donal Keogan and Donncha Tobin in the pecking order. King's absence will be a huge loss as the 28-year-old is one of the most experienced and versatile players on the panel. After making his debut for Meath in 2005 King has played in a number of positions for his county including a spell as full-forward.
