Victory for Kildalkey

Kildalkey took the SHC points tonight at Trim with a 0-19 to 0-13 victory over Navan O'Mahonys. The three-time champions were always inf ront in this repeat of last year's decider. Kildalkey enjoyed a 0-10 to 0-5 interval advantage in a game that developed into a kind of duel on the scoreboard between Kildalkey's Paddy Connelly and Paddy Skehan of O'Mahonys. The game was laced a liberal amount of yellow cards as referee Marcus Quinn was kept busy. Full report in next edition of Meath Chroncile.
