Royals sunk by late Kerry goal
Meath relinquished their All-Ireland MHC B crown when they conceded an injury time goal and were defeated 0-17 to 3-10 by Kerry at Pairc Tailteann today. The home side made a slow start but they looked comfortable at the interval when they led 0-12 to 1-3 with the help of points from Sean Doyle, Gavin McGowan, Jack Regan, James Andrews and Jack Fagan. However Kerry, who had Michael O'Leary sent off near the end, snatched victory with a last-gasp Cian Hussey goal.
