SFC race over for Moynalvey and Skryne
Both Moynalvey and Skryne were held to draws in their SFC clashes with Duleek/Bellewstown and Walterstown respectively today as they failed to get the wins they needed to keep their Keegan Cup ambitions alive. Moynalvey looked set for victory over Duleek/Bellewstown when leading by three points in injury time. However, Duleek/Bellewstown snatched a late goal to earn a 2-8 to 0-14 draw. In Dunshaughlin this evening, Skryne recovered to earn a draw with Walterstown, 0-10 each. Ciaran Lenehan struck the equalising score, but it was to no avail as the Tara men needed to win to stay in contention. Earlier in the day Summerhill had it all too easy as Barry Dardis netted a hat trick of goals to help his side to an easy 5-13 to 0-8 win over 14-man Nobber in Walterstown.
