Greg LeMond for Trim cycle
American cyclist Greg LeMond, three-time winner of the Tour de France, will be in Trim on 7th October for the HADD Charity cycle. The HADD charity cycle takes place as part of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) awareness week and is organised in association with Meath Local Sports Partnership and Clonard Cycle Club. Greg LeMond has ADHD and as a result of this, is a huge supporter of the charity internationally. On the day, there will be two distances for cyclists to chose from- 40km & 10km family spin. Both distances start and finish at the Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim. Cyclists can book online for the 40k up until 5pm Thursday 4th October at the cost of €20; registration on the day for the 40k will cost €25. Family registration will be taken only on the day - cost for family participation: €3 per child under 16 years and €6 for all other participants over 16years. All proceeds go directly to the HADD charity. LeMond became the first American and the first non-European cyclist to win the Tour de France. He is one of eight cyclists to have won the Tour three or more times.
