Seneschalstown and Donaghmore/Ashbourne advance

Both Seneschalstown and Donaghmore/Ashbourne booked their places in the Meath SFC semi-finals tonight with impressive victories over Summerhill and Dunboyne respectively. Two goals in quick succession from Ciaran Macken and Joe Sheridan handed Seneschalstown a shock 2-8 to 0-10 win over defending champions Summerhill at Skryne, while for the second year running Donaghmore/Ashbourne proved too strong for Dunboyne in the quarter-finals with a comfortable 0-17 to 0-8 victory at Páirc Táilteann. In the IFC quarter-finals Castletown advanced to a semi-final meeting with victory over Ballinlough, while Ballinabrackey booked their last four spot against Trim with a narrow win over St Michael's.
