Croke Park Hawk Eye spots culprit?
A 'controversy' that surrounded the aftermath of Meath's All-Ireland Premier Junior Camogie final success at Croke Park last September was partially clarified at last night's annual awards. Popular player Edel Guy had been incorrectly identified as the culprit in a water-dousing of manager John Davis as the celebrations began following Meath's first All-Ireland final victory at Croke Park. However, last night at the awards ceremony in the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan, MC Frank Dempsey investigated the matter and it emerged that Edel Guy was not the guilty party. The 'guilty' person owned up reluctantly but requested that her name not be divulged. However, the Meath Chronicle has unearthed some video evidence and we are now seeking the help of the public in identifying the 'guilty' player. Click here to view the short video.
