Good under-age win for Meath
Meath defeated Louth by 4-13 to 2-6 in the Damien Reid FT final at Darver this morning Meath were ahead by 2-10 to 1-2 at half-time and introduced seven substitutes for the second-half, but still maintained their momentum to win impressively. Mattock Rangers chairman Terry Dohegan thanked both teams and the Louth Co Board for the use of Darver. Sean Reid presented Ruairí O'Grady with the 'Man of the Match' award and the Reid family presented the Demien Reid Cup to Meath captain James McEntee and a set of medals to the Meath panel.
