Manager realises better performance required
Meath hurling manager Cillian Farrell is under no illusions about the performance of his team today in the Christy Ring Cup victory over Armagh at Trim.
This was Meath's third joust with Armagh this year following wins in the Kehoe Cup, NHL Div 2B and now the Christy Ring Cup.
However, this was by far the most unconvincing performance by Meath and the manager readily admitted that a better display would be required next weekend against either Kerry, Derry or Kildare.
The manager was also pleased with the way the players didn't panic when Armagh were dictating the game and highlighted some fine individual displays.
