Minors knocked out

Laois comfortably defeated Meath by 3-16 to 1-5 in the Leinster MHC at O'Moore Park today.

Luke Martin replaced Charlie Bird who limped out of the Meath minor football team last Wednesday night with an injury while Conor Sheerin started instead of Gareth Rooney.

Meath were in contention until midway through the opening half and trailed by 1-3 to 0-11 at the break.

Laois were comfortable throughout the second-half.
