Hurlers hammered by Kildare
Meath exited the Leinster u-21 A HC this evening when they were well beaten in the semi-final by Kildare at Trim.
Kildare were stronger in all departments and won convincingly by 3-15 to 0-13 and were ahead by 2-6 to 0-7 at the interval.
Meath missed a penalty in the opening hald and also had one or two other goal chances that they didn't take.
The story was similar in the second-half as Kildare powered away for a merited victory.

Wicklow defeated Louth in the other semi-final tonight by 5-19 to 0-4 and will play Kildare in a fortnight in the decider.
