Player hospitalised overnight
Dunboyne player Gary Watters who sustained an injury in last night's SHC encounter at Ratoath against Trim was detained overnight in hospital.
According to a Dunboyne club official this morning, the player was brought to Blanchardstown hospital and kept overnight, but it is expected that he will be discharged later today.
An ambulance arrived in Ratoath inside about 10 minutes last night and brought the player to hospital after he sustained an injury which prompted the referee, Conor Ferguson, to abandon the game.
The Meath Co Board will make a decision on the game once they have an opportunity to consider the referee's report.
