Summerhill leave it late

Summerhill left it late, but they managed to win this evening's crucial SFC game against Donaghmore/Ashbourne at Pairc Tailteann by 0-11 to 0-10 and qualify for the knock-out phase of the championship.

Summerhill were ahead by 0-4 to 0-3 at half-time as Donaghmore/Ashbourne kicked eight first-half wides, but they improved after the break to lead by 0-9 to 0-7 at the three-quarter stage.

Summerhill battled back well and Adrian Kenny sent over the vital point in added time.
