Title for Moylagh hurlers

Moylagh had plenty of reasons to celebrate this evening when they won the JHC title with a fantastic 3-15 to 0-6 victory over Navan O’Mahonys at Páirc Tailteann.

Moylagh were ahead by 1-7 to 0-3 at the interval.

This completed a great campaign for the club, especially as club officials were concerned at the start of the year about the feasibility of fielding a team in the hurling championship due to the loss of so many players due to emigration.

In the B FL Div 6 decider curtainraiser at Pairc Tailteann Ballivor defeated Seneschalstown by 2-8 to 1-10.
