Meath footballers supporting autism fundraiser
Meath footballers were busy swinging kettlebells in the Navan Shopping Centre on Saturday in aid of the Meath Autism Network with Allstar nominee Michael Newman also taking the time to autograph jerseys for supporters.
Kevin Reilly, Stephen Bray and Seamus Kenny were all on duty along with many other footballers and members of the management team in an event that was organised by Meath senior football coach Colm Brady and his staff in Colm Brady Fitness.
Keith Keoghan was keeping count for the record-breaking attempt as the hectic session continued until 6pm Saturday evening.
Navan Shopping centre manager Pat Mullaney declined an offer to 'get into the swing' but the general public provided great encouragement and support.
Meath Autism Network was formed in 2006 following an open information evening on autism which was held in Navan Library, organised by Navan Community Forum.
Meath Autism Network aim to encourage the children into social settings with their siblings.
