Kilmainham tipped for JFC title

Sunday's eagerly-awaited Meath JFC decider between Kilmainham and Drumbaragh will be the subject of much debate and discussions in the Kells area and further afield this week.

The final is previewed in this week's edition of the Meath Chronicle, but the results of our on-line poll over the weekend came down very much in favour of Kilmainham.

Drumbaragh were favoured early on, but as the closing time approached there was a late surge of support for Kilmainham who eventually were favoured to take the trophy by 52.2 per cent compared to 47.8 per cent for Drumbaragh.

Last week our poll result suggested that Longwood would win the SHC final against Kilmessan - is that a bad omen for Kilmainham?

The current poll on the IFC final has Gaeil Colmcille in pole position!

If you would like to express your opinion about the likely outcome of the game you can leave a message or comment.

Who will score the first point - Michael Newman or Darragh McNamara?
