Seneschalstown ladies into Leinster final this Sunday
Seneschalstown kept up their winning ways with a 2-12 to 1-5 home victory over Shelmaliers from Wexford in the Ladies Leinst Senior club semi-final on Sunday.
Played in front of a large home crowd and in excellent conditions, Seneschalstown got off to a lively start scoring 2-4 in the first 10 mins.
The opening point came from Louise Coyle followed by a well-taken Amy Gilsenan goal.
The home team kept the pressure on with Shauna Fitzgerald blasting the ball to the net to score the second goal.
Shelamaliers started to settle and scored two points and a goal from a penalty rebound.
The home team continued to dominate the second-half and controlled the game.
Orla Sheridan excelled in defence with Grainne Nulty and Fiona Mahon commanding midfield and Amy Gilsenan winning the ball in attack.
