Taxi on standby for Keegan Cup trip to Enfield!
Na Fianna will bid to upset the odds when they tackle Summerhill in the SFC final at Navan's Pairc Táilteann on Sunday, throw-in 3.30.This will be the first championship encounter at this level between the neighbouring clubs with Na Fianna appearing in their first decider managed by Summerhill man John Lyons.
Declan McCabe, who guided Summerhill to the title in 2011, will be hoping that his team willd eliver another piece of silverware
“We would expect that once the ball is thrown in players will be adapting to it as a normal game, looking to settle in quickly and get some sort of a rhythm. If it doesn’t happen we also have to look at how we can react to that,” the Summerhill manager told the Meath Chronicle.
“This is not a scenario I envisaged before our opening game in the championship this year against Dunboyne, but I have to deal with it now and it’s not the most comfortable place,” the Na Fianna (and former Summerhill) manager told the Meath Chronicle.
