Four in-a-row for Rathkenny
Rathkenny NS completed a tremendous four-in-a-row of Meath Primary Schools' titles when they won the Div 7 crown again this year with a emphatic 6-7 to 2-9 victory over Carrickleck at Páirc Táilteann today.
This was a thriller on a six game programme and for a seven-a-side game it was action-packed throughout with Patrick Moore grabbing three goals for the Rathkenny side.
Ratoath won the Div 1 title with a 2-8 to 1-7 victory against St Paul's Navan while Kentstown took the Div 2 accolade with a 4-9 to 1-7 margin against O'Growney NS, Athboy.
Dunsany won the Div 6 decider when they scored 7-14 against Scoil Naomh Pio, Knockcommon who replied with 3-5 in an exciting tussle.
