Santa Dash in Navan for Jigsaw
A 'Santa Dash' will take place on Sunday 22nd December at 11am in Navan town centre in order to raise much-needed funds for Jigsaw. Jigsaw Meath provides a free and confidential mental health support service for young people in Meath aged 12 to 25.
Members of the Meath Senior Football team will walk through the streets of Navan. It will be the largest gathering of Santas to ever seen in the town. Lots of individuals have been registering online and a large turn out of young people, and families is expected.
Adult participants will be provided with a Santa suit that they can keep, and everyone who enters will be given a medal at the end. The 2km route starts and ends at the Navan Town Centre. There will be a free cup of tea or coffee and some light refreshments available to anyone who takes part. People are encouraged to wear all kinds of Christmas costumes, hilarious Christmas and elf suits are the order of the day.
Entry fees are €20 (includes santa suit and medal), €15 for those with their own costume, €40 for a family, and €5 for students and unwaged. This year to date Jigsaw Meath has supported more than 300 young people. The service is free for anyone aged between 12 and 25.
