Popular Garth Brooks act for Kells
With Garth Brooks’s hugely anticipated comeback concerts at Dublin’s Croke Park this July, tribute act ‘Friends In Low Places’ are putting on a very special show at the Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells, to celebrate.
Friends In Low Places is fronted by well-known local country singer Trevor Smith and features an array of top class musicians from around Ireland to make up the live and very talented eight-piece band.
After a hugely successful ‘Rodeo Tour’ in 2012 and 2013 with packed audiences at Dublin’s Vicar Street, the Bord Gais Theatre, The Cork Opera House, the INEC, Belfast’s Ulster Hall and the Royal Theatre Castlebar, Trevor Smith and his band are embarking on a worldwide tour in 2014 featuring gigs in the UK, United States, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Dubai and Australia.
You can expect to hear all the greatest hits of American country-rock legend Garth Brooks who first rose to fame worldwide in the 1990s with his own brand of country music which spawned such classic songs as ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’, ‘Friends In Low Places’, ‘The Dance’, ‘Baton Rouge’, ‘Shameless’, ‘Unanswered Prayers’ and more. Garth Brooks became the biggest selling solo artist of the 20th century and he packed out stadiums and concert halls around the world with his electrifying live performances including three nights at Dublin’s Croke Park.
Expect the same electrifying show that Garth Brooks is renowned for with the state of the art light and sound production at ‘Friends In Low Places’. Our new show features an amazing lighting production, flames, ramps, moving platforms and more. This show really is a must see for any Brooks fan and is promised to offer you the next best thing to the man himself, and get you in the mood for Garth himself at Croke Park this July if you happen to be one of the lucky ones that managed to get tickets.
