Meath set for Galway at Ratoath

Meath GAA football supporters will have an opportunity to assess the strength of the panel aheda of the June Leinster SFC opener against Carlow when Galway provide the oppisition tomorrow at Ratoath in a SF challenge game, 2pm.

Meath ladies will play Tyrone at 12.0 and Meath juniors will play Louth after the senior game. Next Sunday (18th May) Meath play Cork in another challenge game at Skryne.

TAYTO PARK

Some  2,500 Meath supporters thronged Tayto Park on Friday evening where they spent hours meeting, greeting and getting their photos taken with their heroes.

Meath GAA PRO Martin O'Halloran was delighted with the turn out.

'It was a great evening for Meath GAA and we are thrilled with the turnout. It just goes to prove that the appeal of the Meath footballers and hurlers is still hugely popular and one of the biggest draws in the country,' stated the PRO.
