Dunboyne dish out the pain to Oldcastle
With Meath panelist Donal Lenihan helping himself to 1-6 Dunboyne recorded a comprehensive 4-16 to 2-6 victory over Oldcastle in the SFC at Kilberry this evening.
Oldcastle were facing an uphill task at the break when they trailed 2-4 to 2-9 but in the second-half Dunboyne stepped on the gas to win comfortably.
Conor Daly, Craig Berrigan and David Geaney, who ended up with 1-5, also found the net for Dunboyne.
Oldcastle played some enterprising football in the first-half especially and were awarded with goals from Eoin Gilsenan and Paddy Gilsenan who fired neatly home from the penalty spot.
However there was no stopping Dunboyne who have now won two games from three outings.
