Green light for Navan cinema
Meath County Council has granted planning permission for a new 1,400-seat, nine-screen cinema at the Navan Retail Park , over two years after a previous plan was shot down.
The Omniplex Holdings cinema chain has been granted permission to carry out remedial works to three existing units in the park on the Athboy Road to develop a new nine-screen multiplex with the latest 4D technology.
The news that the multiplex has received the go ahead was enthusiastically welcomed by Cllr Shane Cassells who had given his firm backing to the application. See full story in this weeks Meath Chronicle.
