Women in Business get together in Navan
Business women from across County Meath gathered at Navan Racecourse last Friday (June 13th) for the Meath Women’s Business network’s third summer seminar. While Friday 13th may be greeted with trepidation by some, it was certainly a lucky day for the third summer seminar with glorious sunshine and a wonderful atmosphere enjoyed by all.
Almost 100 women gathered for this informative and informal seminar which provided a great opportunity to network, hear interesting speakers and meet like-minded people.
Women from all areas of business attended, including Navan School of Languages with three young Italian women who were looking for a work placement here for the summer. There were 26 exhibitors at the seminar showcasing their businesses.
Attendees heard from eight speakers covering topics such as the best use of social media, financing your business, growing your business, taking care of yourself, and Meath – a great place to do business.
