Receivers appointed to Station House Hotel

Joint receivers have this week been appointed to the Station House Hotel in Kilmessan, and its sister hotel, the Waterside in Donabate, Co Dublin.
Choice Hotel Group have been appointed to manage the hotels and say it is business as usual.
On Tuesday, Ken Tyrrell and Declan McDonald from PwC were appointed as Joint Receivers to the hotels, which will continue to trade as normal.  All events booked with the hotels will proceed as normal and deposits paid will be honoured.  Hotel management are on hand to deal with any queries customers may have.
Both hotels are popular local venues with established wedding businesses. They are also renowned as strong employers in the local communities. The Slattery family built up a strong business at the Station House over the past three decades, on the site of the former Railway Station in Kilmessan, and in recent years acquired the north Dublin establishment.

As a result of the situation, next Saturday's family fun day at the hotel has been cancelled.
